The challenge they want to solve

Social commerce is growing rapidly across Francophone Africa, but merchants face challenges such as fragmented tools and a lack of digital infrastructure. 83% of merchants still track sales manually, and while 73% want to sell through social media, they lack the necessary digital tools. This limits their access to the digital economy, with over 75% having no online presence.

The impact they have

Tuzzo empowers merchants, especially youth and women, to easily sell through social media by simplifying catalog creation, order management, payments, and deliveries. By reducing operational friction and expanding market access, Tuzzo helps create a new wave of digital entrepreneurs, contributing to inclusive economic development in Francophone Africa.

The way we measure it

We measure the number of active merchants using the Tuzzo app, the volume of sales processed, and the increase in digital storefronts created and shared across social media.
