On the other hand, buying used bikes from private individuals may be risky due to theft, poor condition and lack of warranty. Moreover, producing a new premium bike emits approximately 294 kg of CO₂, and new bikes lose up to 40% of their value within two years.

Each bike reconditioned by Mint saves an average of 113 kg of CO₂ compared to producing new ones. A 100‑point inspection, expert servicing and an online/offline sales model (via 170 partner bike shops) ensure quality, affordability and reliability. Mint advances responsible consumption and supports the circular economy.
